Local Colorado artists Crown Magnetar warmed up the Roxy for some of the hardest metal I’ve heard in a while. Unfortunately their stage presence, sound, and downright disrespect set the bar a bit too high for other bands that night.
Dominating vocals with a duet of cacophonous tension Alex and Dan sounded on point. The two vocalists led up the band with a harmony rarely heard in the progressive death metal scene. Nick and Angelo absolutely shredded and simply left me wanting to see heavy metal dueling guitar sequence, it would have definitely added to their monolithic presence on the stage.
Over all I was stoked to see them live and I was rightfully satisfied that they made the trip up from Colorado Springs. Their domineering presence had everyone in the venue starring and listening. I cant wait to see them again in Fort Collins at their house show on Saturday February 6th.
